CJ Drilling, Inc. is a nationwide, 100% women-owned and operated business specializing in foundation drilling for the utility industry. The company was started in 2003 and is a turn-key foundation drilling company with capabilities in heavy hauling, rebar construction, foundation drilling, and concrete construction.
We are currently looking for a Director of Operations for our National Utility Division to join our team, this successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Operations, with 10 years in Construction Industry, and have knowledge of Utility work and Drilled Shaft.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering
- OSHA 30
- Position requires long hours, weekend work, and able to travel (>50%)
- Strong communication, organizational skills, and people skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Safety oriented
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Provide leadership, direction, coaching and mentoring of Project Management Team
- Coordinate and implement construction schedules
- In-depth tracking and knowledge of all jobs
- Manage financial control and accountability
- Work along with Estimating Department
- Oversee field manpower
- Control labor, equipment, material, and services
- Work with safety leadership and field personnel to ensure CJ Drilling’s safety program is followed on each project
